My world is my stage, the audience keeps changing. A moment I’m up on stage belting a powerful monologue under the spotlight, the next I’m captivating radio listeners with my voice, and then I'm back to the familiar routine of a student. Juggling these seemingly disparate roles is what defines my crazy, exhilarating life.

My love for theatre bloomed early, the thrill of transporting myself into a different character in front of a live audience, the power of storytelling through movement and voice, captivated me. Over the years, my academic and theatre pursuits led me to the world of radio and I got an opportunity to be a part of Akashbani.

Hesitantly, I stepped into the world of radio. The initial awkwardness of fumbling with the microphone soon gave way to a newfound passion.

Balancing both worlds was, and still is an ongoing challenge. However, the support of my theatre family and the encouragement of my radio mentors kept me going. The skills I learned in each sphere transcended their boundaries. The vocal training and projection techniques from theatre enhanced my voice modulation on the radio. The research and scriptwriting involved in radio productions developed my analytical skills, benefiting my academic studies.  Although, the most significant experience came from the people I met. The experienced theatre directors pushed me to explore my creative depths, while the seasoned RJs at Akashvani instilled in me the importance of clarity and responsibility in communication.

This journey has been an adrenaline rush with a touch of discipline, passion and a touch of madness. My journey has just begun and I am excited and eager to keep pushing until I squeeze every bit of good and bad out of my journey.
